Keep Calm and Make Wise Choices
Kingdom Business
I believe business is such a key part of God's plan in bringing forth the Kingdom on earth. Jesus describes the Father Himself as a worker, calling Him ”the Vinedresser.” Also, Jesus said at twelve years old, “I must be about My Father’s business” [Matthew 3:12].
Learn More About Us
At IKLC, we believe God is in the business of people, creating both “prophets and profits” while using the marketplace for many of His purposes. After searching our website, we hope it reveals how important the ministry of Kingdom Business within the Body of Christ is.
Marketplace and Workplace
Many of Jesus’ public ministry appearances seem to have been in the marketplace and workplace. There are believed to be numerous parables told, many of which can be described as having a business, finance or workplace context. We use the term “Kingdom Business” to signify a business dedicated to kingdom principles and ethics away from the church.

New Book Release
This book will explore the business life of Jesus’ time and culture. It was common for a son to follow in his father’s occupational footsteps. Since Joseph was a craftsman, it makes sense for Jesus, as Joseph’s oldest son, to have been one as well. Jesus would have been an apprentice to His father, learning the family business by His father’s side.
Given the likelihood that Joseph died before Jesus began his messianic business, it’s reasonable to believe that Jesus managed the family business for some time. We should also not be surprised that Jesus used business as a deeper illustration of the Kingdom of God. Jesus, the Businessman is the story, but advancing God’s Kingdom is the purpose.
