IBW East Coast Diocese
My wife and I believe God has called us to share his Kingdom agenda with the church at large, but especially to the small, local church.
Many times, the skills and gifts of a small church are overlooked due to its size; however, our fellowship will provide the same level of training and support to the small church to maximize its performance capability in its Kingdom assignment. We have developed three primary programs that will help small churches produce Kingdom-minded disciples equipped to expand the Kingdom mandate of the local church. These programs will be taught through our Smart Church Advantage Boot Camp. We believe churches should be supported by a group of three organizations separate from the church and each other. These supporting organizations are designed to support the church's Kingdom focus, which is to produce a culture of caring and sharing- because WE CARE. Dr. Bishop Ricky E. Carr, Sr., Diocsean
CORE VALUES
01
Corporate Worship
We believe in full corporate and personal devotion to Christ and His cause. Organized worship gathering is becoming less important to the average American. Without regular participation in corporate worship, one tends to drift spiritually. In the book of Acts, we’re told that those who came to the faith in the early days “continued steadfastly in . . . fellowship.” The purpose of gathering together is to “encourage one another.”
02
Gratitude
We believe in a readiness to show appreciation for, and to return, kindness. Showing gratitude has so many proven benefits—physical, mental, and emotional—that everyone should make a part of their daily lives. Lasting happiness comes not from merely saying thank you occasionally, but from having a grateful disposition.
03
Family
We believe there is nothing more important than strong, united families. The physical family is the most important building block to human society and should be nurtured and protected. But more important than that is the new creation that God is making in Christ, which is comprised of a spiritual family, drawn "from every nation, tribe, people and language."
04
Education
We believe in educating the saints for ministry and life. One of the only things we know of Jesus is that He “grew in wisdom” as He grew “in stature” (Luke 2:52). That is, the Son of God voluntarily put Himself in a position where He needed to assimilate knowledge as a man. Education was part of the process.
